Life in general is a question of evolution and development. Indeed, once the process of development comes to an end, the process of stagnation begins. Similarly, renowned businessman and author Harvey Eker describes development and growth with the following similie:

“If you want to change the fruits, you will first have to change the roots. If you want to change the visible, you must first change the invisible.”

How true this is. It has now come to a time in my personal development to change the roots in order harvest the rewards of a different crop. Therefore, I will soon embark upon a period of study in order to develop my knowledge within the field of psychology. This may come as somewhat as a surprise to a number of individuals. However, I can defend and justify my decision to embark on this new period of my life via another quote:

“For the best return on your money, pour your purse into your head.”

― Benjamin Franklin
